Nameplates Case 5, detail 9

<-- LastBack to the start -->
Notes: One of my most unusual nameplates is the Lighthouse (the smallest one on this page), the plate of framebuilder Tim Neenan who built some of the earliest mountain bikes and helped design the first mass-produced MTB, the Specialized Stumpjumper. Interestingly, he usually builds road frames and that’s where this plate came from. Speaking of mountain bikes, the Breezer is from a bike built by Joe Breeze, who was one of the earliest pioneers of off-road bikes. To the left is part of a Mountain Goat plate, made by Jeff Lindsay, another fat-tire framebuilder from way back who helped the sport grow and prosper.
